At the borders of the Cretan village of Kefalas, this group of houses combines the traditional forms and materials with the modern design and the luxury of villas. It consists of a 170 m2 main house and 3 smaller of approx 80 m2 each. Additionally one of those is a renovation of a preexisting building.
At the core of the conceptual design are the principles of a local village neighborhood. Which is a very distinctive feature of the Cretan scenery. Buildings are placed in a row forming a high wall towards the south and the neighbors. At the same time they open up in different directions towards the north and the unlimited view of the sea, leaving little paths between them. Moreover the slight turn between them secures the privacy of each of them.
