In a sloping plot of the village of Tsivaras Apokoronas, was designed and constructed a villa with highly aesthetic features and unobstructed view of the gulf of Souda. Its main feature is the intense geometry of the volumes and the different materials that create a unity that outstands. The external form of the building is characterized by pure, smaller volumes, which are “dressed” by the different colors and materials. The building is placed at the norther point of the plot in a way that the natural terrain is not significantly modified, creating at the same time different levels at the internal and the external space of the building. The volume of the ground floor is dressed in black local stone and creates at the same time a strong differentiation with the light[1]colored volume of the first floor. The large windows frame enhance the contact of the interior spaces with the exterior, giving a continuous visual contact with the sea, and the natural landscape.
